So you just got engaged (mazal tov!) and you sit down to start planning your registry. You think of all the things you’ll need or want in your new life together. Maybe some practical and classic pieces, a bunch of unique items, and a few fun experiences to make newlywed life more exciting. When you imagine the items you’ll be using, you’re probably imagining your new home, and what will fill your kitchen, living room and bedroom.
And that’s why most couples forget to register for…. luggage! (If you guessed that, we are very impressed).
If you’re like most people, the luggage you own right now is either made up of bright green duffel bags from summer camp, or luggage from your parents that is pretty much falling apart. Let’s just say it is definitely not good quality, light, or long lasting.
If you made aliyah (mazal tov, again!) and have family and friends abroad, or you have dreams of travelling the world (might I suggest Thailand), these will be items you will actually use. A lot. Just think- you’re honeymoon will pretty much be you, your fiance, and this luggage. So make sure you and your luggage really get along!
